Please read these terms carefully before using StudentPerks. By creating an account or using this platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use StudentPerks.

1. Who We Are

StudentPerks is a South African student discount and deals platform that connects verified students with participating brands and businesses. References to "we", "us" and "StudentPerks" mean the StudentPerks platform and its operators.

2. Eligibility

To use StudentPerks, you must:

• Be a currently enrolled student at a recognised South African educational institution
• Provide accurate and truthful information during the verification process
• Be at least 13 years of age

We reserve the right to refuse or revoke access if we have reason to believe you do not meet these requirements.

3. Verification

Access to deals requires verification of your student status. You must submit a valid, unaltered student card or proof of registration. Submitting fraudulent documents is a violation of these terms and may result in permanent removal from the platform and, where appropriate, referral to relevant authorities.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts is not permitted
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account
• Your account is personal and non-transferable

5. Use of Deals and Discounts

Deals listed on StudentPerks are provided by third-party partners. StudentPerks acts as a directory and does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or continued availability of any deal.

• Discounts are for personal use only and may not be resold or transferred
• Each deal is subject to the participating partner's own terms and conditions
• StudentPerks is not liable for any loss arising from a partner's failure to honour a deal
• Deal terms, discount values, and availability may change without notice

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use StudentPerks for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access accounts or systems that are not yours
• Misrepresent your student status or submit false documents
• Share, sell, or distribute deals or discount codes to non-students
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform or its content
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the platform

7. Intellectual Property

All content on StudentPerks — including the name, logo, design, copy and code — is the property of StudentPerks. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

StudentPerks is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that deals will always be available. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, StudentPerks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these terms, or if your student status can no longer be verified. You may delete your account by contacting us at admin@studentperks.co.za.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of StudentPerks after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes by email.
